Emergency Arbitrator
Under GCCCAC Arbitration Rules, an emergency arbitrator provides a rapid procedure for parties needing urgent measures that cannot wait for an arbitral tribunal to be established. This process offers a temporary solution for parties in urgent situations, delivering interim relief in the form of an order, which can be revisited by the arbitral tribunal once it is formed.
Application Requirements:
- Full name, description, address, and contact details of each party.
- Complete information of any representatives of the applicant.
- Description of the circumstances and the underlying dispute leading to the application, specifying why it is referred to arbitration.
- Details of the emergency measures sought, including reasons for needing urgent interim or conservatory measures.
- Any relevant agreements, particularly the arbitration agreement.
- Agreements concerning the arbitration's location, applicable laws, or language.
